Hi,
Im hoping to soon take delivery of a 6600 to upgrade my now boring 7250i.
Now with my 7250i it was wasy I just got a datcable an cd full of games etc. for about £7 plugged it in, downloaded MobiMb and it was easy.
Now im looking to hook up my 6600 with my pc which is the best way to do it?
Im gonna get a PQI mmc card from ebuyer (256mb)
now my question is to save stuff to the mmc card do i need a reader or can it be done via a datacable or bluetooth dongle?
Is it better to get a bluetooth device or cable? Any reccomendations? Dont want to spend loads.
Also does anyone have / know where I can get hold of a CD/DVD of literally most of the stuff out for the 6600 in terms of games, apps, themes etc.? Ive tried ebay an u can get a DVD for a fiver does that sound good? Theres that many it can be confusing!
Thanks

About the games and apps:
mIRC: #mediaplace or #mediaplace-xdcc
Torrent: www.suprnova.org
About themes:
www.gsmschwantz.com
www.symbianthemes.com (undergoing updates)
About wallpapers:
www.jhonny.org/wap
(I usually get my favourite PC wallpapers, crop and resize to 176x144)
Hope that helps!

You can use ir, bt or mmc reader. If I were you I'd go for the mmc reader as it's the cheapest and the fastest.

Thanks for that.
I think I may have a card reader knocking about at home, but I might get a bluetooth dongle or a cable as well.
Cheers for the links, Im thinking of downloading either IRC or bittorrent anyway!
I might geta dvd of ebay as well, not bad for the money as it will give me sum stuff to start off with.

As far as I know data cable is not an option for the Nokia 6600.
Currently I've been using Infra-Red Adapter for mine (as I'm waiting on my Bluetooth dongle adapter). IR isn't that bad, a bit slow though.
Personally, i'd get a bluetooth adapter, they can be had pretty cheap off eBay.com.au. Reason being that it's wireless connectivity, don't have to remove the battery out your phone and stick it into the card reader, it's quicker than IR. Also, an advantage over card reader is you can manage stuff on your phones inbuilt memory to - i.e. contacts.
As for software, don't bother buying a dvd, just download what you need of the net, that way you get what you want and the latest version. and most files are small and quick to download as well as easy to find on websites, IRC and torrent

well Ill get a bluetooth dongle from amazon, ebuyer.com or ebay then.
One thing i hate about ebay at the moment is the way people put say a bluetooth dongle for £5 then put postage at £9 because its being shipped from hong kong!
Im still not sure about the dvd, I think ill see what I can get hold of from IRC :-D then maybe buy one - lots of tones, films, games etc. would be handy as im not on a high speed connection, and searching them all out could be a chore.
