please help me to clear contuct service. i am flashing with Dejan 104,
but problem still show.

first of all connect you phone with mbus cable and run EEprom tools 3.1( u can find it in my site www.geocities.com/finn2k1 ).Then check Test and the programm will tell you the reason of contact service.

after flashing, my 8250 went contact service... i used eeprom tools and it tells me that there is a PPM error and that the phone must be repaired.
When I try to flash my backup, it says pre loader boot error!!!!
heellllpppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what should I do!

I think something to do with you flashing cable. Maybe loose contact or try to increase the delay time. Consider using rolis 4.78 or 5.xx.

i'm using the rolis 4.7x version, you mentioned about the 5.xx version... where can i get it?

I think you need to full flash your phone with a working flash file, I meet this problem before, i full flash it with other phone working flash file, and the contact service gone, i don't know what cause the problem.

thank for the advice, but the problem is when i try to use knok, it says "cannot prepare phone"...

try setting the contacts properly...

What error when flash with rolis??
Did the cable work with other phone??

if the error is phone RAM is bad, try to replaced....
txt high- check you cable connection or battery....
hope your help this...

dear all,
the cable work fine for other models... i just finished 2 units of 3310 for upgrade and it did work fine.
I'm really having a hardtime using this cable with the 82xx. I don't know why.
anyway, thanks for the posts you guys made. I think i'll just put this 8210 in the shelves for a while until I have a new idea on how to deal with it.
