Hi,
To my knowledge no, going from RM to a format that Smart Movie can convert normally doesn't produce very good final movies.
I would suggest re-doing them again, it will take time but it will be much more worth it in the end.
Also take a look here at how to make even better Smart Movies using another piece of software :

No. Here's why: Once you've dumbed down the video quality to such a small .rm file, there's no way to recover the lost quality. So when you then compress it AGAIN, you're dumbing down an already dumbed down file. So not only do you lose quality in the file conversion, but you also have quality loss from the original conversion to .rm. The computer can't extract the original high quality from the .rm file, therefore you're tryin to compress an already lo-fi file into a shit-fi file.
P.S. Good to see Coolice back to bring the light of Virtual Dub to those in darkness. haha.

Hey Mate,
Well, we gotta try haven't we :)
There's no other Dub like a Virtual Dub!
I love Smart Movie and Virtual Dub, the encodes are so good.
I don't know why Lonely Cat Games don't see if they can write Virtual Dub source into their own encoder.
