I've got a few .wav's that I want to use as a ringtone, but there obviously not in a format that the phones software recognises and plays, I've tried using Mobile AMR Converter, but the converted file just plays as a blurr/distortion, anyone got a solution?

Your phone does play wavs. If you've already tried the ones you have there's a chance they are just in a strange wav format (i've had a lot of these) you just need to stick them through pc suite or the early version of nokia multimedia converter.

I've got Nokia PC Suit 5 installed and running, and it's got Nokia Sound Converter in it, but this only converts from Midi format...
I tried sending it to the phone in .wav format, and saving it in the sounds/digital folder but when I open it the phone says it's unable to play it, unexpected or something...

If I remember rightly pc suite 5 reeks of shit, isn't it the one with lots of little programs instead of just one. Try another version or get the stand alone multimedia converter.
