I was playing around with my 3650 and left some fingerprints on the LCD, I was trying to get them off but it only made a greasy smudge. What can I use to safely clean it?

I use T-Cut original its also good for removing micro scratches from the plastic that covers the LCD.

Or you can use the stuff for cleaning video heads.

I use some special kind of tissues that are made for cleaning glasses, monitors and stuff like that. They are soaked in some kind of window polish.

You do know the problem is your ear and not your fingers(??) That's what you get from a phone that's screen is half covered by your ear when you make a call..

Hmmm! Well use a special kind of thin layer of protective screen pastic made 4 any & all cellphone LCD screens. Which protects the LCD screen from greasy smudges, scratches, dirt particles & spills. And it's very clear barly know, that it's on there. It's the same kind that u would get on a brand new purchased cellphone.

Depends. If you mean on the plastic cover, like the outside part, I just lightly spray Windex straight on it and wipe it off with like my shirt or a paper towel. But if you mean on the uncovered LCD screen, I take the cleanest, softest cloth I can that doesn't leave fibers behind (clean white undershirts actually work okay) and I just barely get windex on the cloth and lightly wipe the screen. Then I use a dry part and get the streaks off. And naturally, I make sure I use a compressed air can to keep all that damn dust out.

You'd think that rubber seal around the screen would keep it totally dust free. The worse is when you drop your fone, and suddenly the screen is coverered in all the dislodged dust. Pretty damn annoying.

I think the key word there is "dislodged" - all the dust blocked by the seal is let through from the impact.

Personally, I use a glasses cloth for the outer screen.

A trick from my dad taught me that toothpaste is very good for removing minor scratches. Just put a blob on and spread it with ur finger for a long time.. then.. rinse and dry!

Greasy smudges aren't the only problem with LCD screens. Hairline scratches or scratches in general, 2 me r the worst. No kind of cleaner will get rid of scratches.

Yeah, but there are some semi decent 3rd party covers out there which are like £3 each. Just whip off the old cover and stick the new one on. Good as new.

I brought 2 new orginal covers 4 my N-gage QD, a month ago. I always leave the protective screen plastic film on them.
