is de ngage qd user friendly?
do the 2 have the same posibilities? i believe hardware is the same
one more thing the 6600 has mono sound
does the ngage qd has stereo sound or is that only on the older ngage model?
thanx

Since ur not into cameras ( even though ur missing out a-lot)
I say go for the NGAGES.

N-GAGE:
MP3 Player
Radio
Bulky Size
Side-Talking
NO hot MMC swapping, ie u need to turn off the phone and take out the battery to put another game. Which could be a pain in the ass if u were on the go.

N-GAGE QD
NO MP3 ( though u could have a third party sftw for that )
NO Radio
Slimmer than its preceder
Regular talking technique
Hot Swappable MMC

hi thanx for the suggestions.

i visited some shops today and the ngageqd is actually smaller then i suspected , but i found out that the siemens x1 is on promotion and is only 299euro (6600 is 349euro)
the shopowner told me that the siemens is better, it has radio and stereo mp3 as extra ++ more memory then nokia 6600 and it's cheaper..

it really confuses me now.
if i upload ngage games on that , can you play with the joystick on the phone or you use the num pad for directions?

i'm really tempting to go for the siemens now..
damn, choosing is so dificult :P

u need an Ngage emulator to run the games on other s60 devices, and thats IF they work from the first place.

So If u want to get the phone primarily for the games, consider the NGAGES, if u dont care about the games consider Nokia 6600, SX1, Nokia 7610. SX1 has an older symbian software than the nokia's.

N-gage games are not designed to work on series 60 phones (even though any monkey wouldn't have made them so proprietary). So only some will work, and it varies from phone to phone. I have a 3650 so I never had to worry bout n-gage games... almost none work on it. You'll have to ask someone else which are compatible with which phone. 6600 runs the most, I know, and the siemens sx1 is infamous for not running htem if i recall correctly. Moreover, you'll have to download illegally cracked versions, so just make sure you're okay with that first. No emulator is needed, OMEN's

Personally, I didn't think the camera was a big deal either. But now I keep 230 pictures on my phone. I would never buy a phone without a camera after owning the 3650. It really comes in handy and it's nice to have all your memories recorded on ur phone.

So here's the deal:
If you want games, music w/ stereo, but no camera, get n-gage (original).
If you just want games get the n-gage QD.
If you want a camera and are willing to download cracked games, get the 6600, it runs the most n-gage games.
If you want a camera and a cheap phone, get the 3650.
If you want a camera and stereo music, (and possibly n-gage games, we'll have to see) wait for the 3230.
If you want music, a camera, and a flip phone, get 6260.
If you want music, a camera, a small phone, and some games get 7610

Things to remember:
To play n-gage games on anything but n-gage you'll have to get hacked versions
Only the original n-gage, siemens sx-1, 6260, 6630, and 3230 have stereo and good-quality mp3 players. But 3230 is the best value and smallest of these (350 euro).
The 3650, 6600, and n-gage are pretty big. If you want small get a 7610 or 3230. 3230 is smaller, has better features, and costs 100 dollars less.

In case you couldn't tell, I believe the 3230 is the best one of the bunch. It comes out in Q1 2005.
