Hi everyone, kinda new to this phones business, have fixed a few now but most of them were hardware faults. Have just purchased two more phones now, one that when turned on freezes, and when turned off if you plug it in the charger and where as a working phone would beep quickly for a sec this one doesnt stop beeping if you know what I mean it just goes 'beeeeeeeeeeep' constantly?.
Just bought another mbus cable, serial this time as the usb one I purchased before was crap and wouldnt work, so just have to wait til that arrives.

I have some ps2 connection cables that go on the end of the mbus cable, does anyone know of a flash cable that is avaiable in the uk that I can also use these cable ends with ?

The other phone is also a 6100 but this one displays contact services, is this a flash job too?. I also have a working 6100 that the previous owner said that the keypad didnt work. I fixed this by cleaning all the muck off the pcb as it look as though it had water damage, the only thing I cannot get to work now is the ringer/ exteral speaker unit, the phone vibrates and flashes but will not ring and when on external speaker you cant hear anything. I have tested the speaker and it is fine, any ideas?.

Last but not least  I have a 8310 and when I use nokia tool on it all I get is write error, error 995 and on the phone 'accessory not supported', have tried it on 3 other 8310s I have, and it comes up with the same result. I am using user port. Nokia Fbus v0.2 by Maestro works fine and so does logomanager, but try and use anything else like eeprom tools or anything else and it just will not have it. The cable looks nearly identical to this

Also last of all, what is the difference between the griffon/prodigy and a standard lpt cable ?.
Many Thanks for your help in advance, thanks for reading my rambling
