Newbie need help with unlocking phone via cable

I have a Nokia 6820b model. Unfortunately I screwed up on entering the unlocking code and now I cannot unlock it via codes. Anyone know how to unlock it via cable? And what type of cable?

I suggest you go to a shop and get it unlocked pro stylie it only costs about a tenner and if you do it your self the lead will cost about £20.00. hope this helps.

wrong...you cannot do it yourself with a cable for £20...you need a prodigy box or something similar ....

just take it to a shop who should do it for about £10
