Ngage games on 7610

It seems that almost every ngage game can run at full speed on the 7610, BUT the colors are often wacked up :( anyone know a solution to this? Or have any ideas for a workaround for the problem?

Using the 7610 as a substitute for the ngage would definitely be interesting :D

The colours of Sonic used to get messed up on my Nokia 7610 and I ended up uninstalling the game. I dont think there is a lot you can do about it, just try some games, others work fine.

I don't know much about it cause i have a 3650 (low ass memory) and don't play n-gage games. But i've heard certain cracked versions do that and others don't. Plus I've heard there are some work arounds on some games for those types of problems. Look around the forum, I saw a thread describing some of them.

i remember reading on this forum last time i was here (quite a while ago now) that the colours were messed up because n-gage games are designed for an n-gage that has 4096 colors on screen, where as 6600, 7610 and the likes have 65k of colours

once game has loaded try pressing the # key,,it works with sonic,,,good luck

how do you even make ngage games work on 7610.
i extracted one and get file named system, inside it files named apps and libs.
have no idea what to do with them...

It's very simple, grab ur mouse move the pointer to the SEARCH button, you can also try to hit this (http://nokiafree.org/forums/search.php?) link if you can't find the over obvious search button...

well I tried a few of the latest on my 7610 but with not much luck

Call Of Duty: kernel exec crash
The Elder Scrolls: kernel exec crash
Colin McRae: runs but with fucked up colors and has no sound
colin gives OK colors as long as you don't touch any buttons, when you touch a button it goes greenisch...
the sound is gone but you hear a weird clicking like you are running the program Anti Mosquito :)

I have (normally) the latest libs installed...

A fix not 4a few days from now or maybe never. Just try 2 keep ur eyes & ears open, anything is possible. :)

sorry i might be asking the same question like a lot of other ppl does on the forum but i still couldn't got the n-gage games installed in my 7610.
I tried putting the .biz file into the installer file itself and the phone doesn't seems to read the .biz file.
Are there something else which is needed in order to install the game? :???: :???:

u can only play sonic and puyo-pop becuase they require short amonunt of ram memory but u cannot play games like tony howker ,crash nitro

Ive just read on here that Colin Mcrae 2005 works on a 7610, if you are making a call while you are playing, and switch back with taskman... and it works! Colours fixed, and the sound stops popping too! This is the first driving game thats worth having on a phone IMO...

...so anyway it must be possible to make (or find) a program that simulates making a call, without actually doing it (or even just runs in the background and fixes the game!) like the mp3player fix does - c'mon, some clever bastard out there is reading this... :D

OR - does anyone know what number (in the UK) I can call without using up my free minutes! (vodafone contract, 200 anynet mins/month) any ideas?

Oh make that 31 ngage on 7610 up to and inc. Xanadu next :-)not tested splinter cell but reports not promising. Elder scrolls does work as does call of duty ...

got bomberman to work on my 7610 . :wink:


you have to have the latest libs installed to get it to work

also sometimes you have to switch task to get the sound to work
