I've been looking around the internet for a bit to answer a question a few of my friends and I have. I know that you can unlock a phone to accept any wireless carrier's SIM, but what about each carrier's independent data service. For example, AT&T wireless has mMode, and Cingular has MEdia NET. Does unlocking the phone allow you to also access any carriers data service, or can you only make and receive calls from unlocked handsets? If not, then is there a way for you to do it? I know this is probably a dumb question, but I'm asking anyway :). Thanks

you just need to change the settings to the new operator, or go to the Nokia web site and there is a section where it will send you a message with all the settings to your phone direct
