Hey Guys,
Well My sister purchaced a 3650 in the UK, and I have had an N-Gage for some time. We have recently moved to U.S.A (and i must say America's phones are rubbish compared to U.K.'s  ).
Well when we got here, I got an American t-mobile sim as mine was unlocked, put it in and hey presto! my phone was now on America's t-mobile. Then my sis put the sim into her 3650 which is also unlocked and... :???: it froze??? We had many attempts, but it got as far as the menu that was jus frozen (it also froze on the welcome message, and the nokia sign at the beggining).

So can any one fix this mystery of my sisters 3650, so we can have an American sim working on an unlocked English phone????
Thanks to all the helpers! :-)

Try a different sim and see if that happens again.

maybe the US sim uses 850 mhz freq, which 3650 doesnt have? (it has 900 instead).

or u din unlock properly?

I know what you mean about phones bein shit here in the states. I hate how unstandardized our cell systems are and how no one has enough money to embrace the new technologies i.e. not still have a 30 dollar black and white screen brick phone. But then again, I hate how everyone here is fat too, but what u gonna do bout it, eh?

Possibilities:

A. It's not really unlocked

B. Her service is not t-mobile and uses 850 mhz band (3650 only supports 900,1800,1900, and only at&t and t-mobile use 1900 mhz as far as I know)

C. Phone needs reformatting or flashing (I don't suggest the latter here in the states; no care centers, you have to mail it off).

D. God hates you.
