If you mean sony ericsson phones whoppass, the sony ericsson S700 is pretty much the standard for the best of the best phone cameras. All other megapixel phones are compared to the S700. Nokia camera phones were especially known for their quality during the VGA era, and they're still one of the more highly regarded brands with all this megapixel competition, but the S700 is the best camera phone out there, if that's ur question.

I still prefer Nokias tho for their functionality, ease of use, support, reception, and the fact that they aren't proprietary as f**k (damned memory stick duo).

Well, think about it ... you can't compare a 7610's 1.0 megapixel with S700's 1.3 megapixel can you? :-P

sony's would be better because they have way more experience with imaging and image encoding, the image encoding on a sony would be a higher standard of nokia's

About mirc, I don't go on often because:
(1) They are reluctant to give me back my @
(2) There ain't much new stuff on a regular basis ( i dont blame mp on this)
(3) (Main Reason) I reserve my broadband speeds leeching anime off Torrent :-D
