I never heard of Vnes. Yewnes is very good, if not great. Gamephone Advance is another 1 that is very good or great. :D

i tried vnes with a game cant remember name loaded to title screen excellent sound but my phone crashed

heard it's the best one out there but I think it's for Java midp2.0 only, that's why I never get a chance to try it on my N-Gage :sad:

Damn! it works great on my nokia 6600! i havent tested the yewnes 2 so i cant compare the sound coz the yewnes 2 demo doesnt support sound. But the Vnes sound is like playing on a real nintendo!
Man they must make a crack for this :-)

i got mine from #aivanet vnes.emu.(free).with.10_roms.rar and it came preinstalled with adventure island but it crashed my phone. I had to take the battery off

Sigh...another crap released. I got the same situation as mentioned above. However, be patient and let it crashed 4 a while, n u should get a main menu screen which u can exit without removing out your battery.


Let's hope the OP source could provide a registered version or release the 100% workable keYXXX for yewnes v2.0.

I had to take the battery offi tryed the same version on my 6600 and it work really greate and one thing it are a symbian version of vnes too that are better than the midp2 one 8-)

I got some from Emule, mIRC & Kazaa Lite. None of them r good on my N-gage QD. :sad: So i'll just stick with other emulators that do work properly on my QD.

as I've mentioned, maybe they won't work on N-Gage coz the phone has no support for midp2 (the symbian version should work fine thou)

I installed the onwpda version on my n-gage and I wasn't able to:

1. load roms other than the previously installed adventure island
2. load a saved state (unregistered message)


is the ximpda version any different?

bizzyrok im sorry you got that sfx comment I accidentally released a installer with sfx comment on a personal project still incorperated. Dont worry its nothing to fear it was to a IRC related program and i seriously doubt you will have anything on your PC to intiate that exe. But I have corrrected the problem with my latest repacks.

Ver. 1.2 of Vnes is out. I know this cause i got it. My QD is running firmware ver. 4.0. And Vnes v1.2 runs fine on my QD. :-D
