er.... I was just thinking... is there any practical way to send all my contacts (without using Nokia PC Suite) from the N-GAGE to my brand new prototype 6630? ;)

it will have to be via bluetooth... I can select all of those contacts, but I don't seem to be able to send more than one in a single step...

any ideas? (perhaps sending a file located in c: ...)

what about sending already received SMS messages from the 6630 to the N-GAGE via bluetooth?

Thankx guys!

At least now I know the 6630 IS stereo... I've listened with my very own ears...

the sound quality is very good, nearly that of the N-GAGE, though a little bit worse - perhaps it is related to not being a hardware-based MP3 player, but a software one.

I miss the radio... and I don't like its shape that much... so I guess I'll be, once again, returning to my beloved N-GAGE on monday!

use smartvcard, it records a .vcf file that you can use in any phone, as long as it has smartvcard in it too.

is the 6630 a symbian 6 device?

anyway theres a program called contacts transfer....its free and it will do the job I assume as it works on my ngage...

just a matter of trasnfering the data file it creates and importing it into the 6630...

a thought and u might wanna try looking at this thread about it;

I just figured out how to do it... 6630 comes with this pre-installed app : "Transfer", which has an option for it to be sent to another phone via bluetooth, and u can copy data from ur old to ur new phone.

The sad part is... it doesn't copy messages... sig :( I really wanted to do it... not for now, of course, 'cause i'll stick back to my n-gage, but for the future... when something better than the N-GAGE comes out =)

I got a transfer program that comes with mine. It sends the app to amnother series 60 device and allows you to port all your contacts etc over.

nope... same old same OS7...

Show some proof. All the press releases and specs have said it's os8, there isn't much difference though.

Mate, the 6630 runs Symbian 8.0a. Have a look at the official Nokia device details page: http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,016-2219,00.html

If you still can't see it (near the top of the grey feature table on the left):

Operating System:
