View Full Version : N-Gage or 6620?
Looks like I bought both even though I don't have them in my hands yet. They should come in about a week, I'm trying to decide which one to keep... 6620 has everything I was looking for (mostly stereo mp3 playback and more ram) but obviously I won't be able to play n-gage games. On the other hand if I keep the 6620 I'll have a smaller phone and won'y look ridiculous talking on it...Are the n-gage games worth it really?
Btw, 6620 also has a USB connection right?

I guess that's what I'm trying to figure out, are the n-gage games good enough to justify carrying this big thing around and look ridiculous talking on it...

Bogu! It's like this if u want 2 play some of the hottest N-gage games, buy an N-gage/N-gage QD. Because the 6620 just won't make it when it comes 2 playing all of the N-gage games. If u like 2 take pictures of anything & everything then buy a 6620. It's as simple as that. Or u can always buy both of them.
just did... :) , I just can't keep them both...I'll wait for them to come and see how the n-gage feels and how big it is and I guess I'll make my decision then...

Good luck with ur decision Bogu. And if u can swing it some how keep both i would. :razz: But seriously decide wisely.
I've been looking at some videos of n-gage games and I think I'll keep it, they look pretty damn good, especially Ashen, as far as sidetalking, I'll just drill a hole in the back to use it "normally".

Why don't u just go with the N-gage QD? And save the time in drilling holes in2 a N-gage.

OK! I agree with u Bogu. The mp3 pt. is no problem, meaning i rather put in my own mp3 player app. UltraMP3 & MP3Player r the 1's i am currently using. As far as the radio pt. don't need it, never did.
isn't the output mono in QD though?

Yes it is. I wish it was stereo, but still i really don't let that bother me @ all. :-)

OK! Then go & buy the Orginal N-gage. Because that has stereo. :smile:

I must say it's not as big as I thought it would be, it looks very cool and solid, I like it a lot but it's a bit of pain to use it because you have to use both hands to hold it and to press the keys... talking on that thing is also not the best, it doesn't just look ridiculous, it feels pretty weird too and I'm having problems adjusting my ear to the speaker to get a good sound, maybe I'll get used to it... I haven't tried any games yet except for some old junk that came with it like Tomb Rider or Rayman... which one of the new games should I try so I can see best what the N-gage is capable of? Ashen? Call of duty? Asphalt?

Try Asphalt Urban GT first u won't regret it. Then i would try Ashen. Leave Call of Duty last 2 play, it wasn't all that great from the Poll that PsychiatricHelp did.
I just started playing around with this thing, I must say it's pretty damn good. Asphalt is awesome, phone is not even that much bigger than the 3650, it's a bit wider but also flatter, mp3 sound quality is great, I'm just downloading every n-gage game that came out so far to try them all out. This probably have been asked before but is there a list of compatible 1gb mmc's somewhere on the forum? Thanks
I just got the 6620 yesterday (after a month, damn customs...), anyway, very nice phone except that stupid joystick. I know it's the same as the one on 6600 and I can't imagine playing any games on that thing, nevermind N-Gage games even if miraculously some of them work. Joystick is not too friendly to use and the keys are so tiny that make playing games unbearable.

So! What will be ur final decision, N-gage or the 6620?
N-Gage it is, it's way more practical for what I want to do with the phone (mostly because of games) but I must say that the 6620 looks way way better and the screen brightness is amazing, I was very tempted to keep it.
