There is no hardware that will allow a N-gage 2b hooked up 2a TV. First of all how would a person do that when the N-gage doesn't have any port(s) 4a TV connection.

maybe a usb to scart lead, or some modding inside to phone to attach to the wires that send signals to the screen, then to a video cable, i dunno i think its a cool idea

It would be a great idea Maxice5000. But the N-gage would have 2 have certain ports or outlets on it, 4 anything like that 2 happen. The N-gage would have 2b equipped with audio & video in & out ports or outlets. Ur idea is great. I take my hat off 2u. :-)

the headphone socket could be used for the audio (so it already has the audio IN/OUT), and there must be some way of making video come out of the usb and attaching a scart block, i have seena bluetooth to TV picture viewer so video can be done to an extent.

No! The headphone socket is a very bad choice. I've tried that yrs. ago with mp3 players, computer systems, tape recorders, portable/handheld game systems & so on. The audio will be heard, but either low &/or distorted. A real audio & video port would truly be needed. Also headphone pt. is audio out, not in. If it was audio in & out, it would have a headphone & mic symbols on the N-gage. It just has a headphone symbol.

Its hand bloody held for a reason. If you want something like that there is such a thing as a PS2, gamecube or xbox. I'm sure they didnt create a hand held gaming console/phone so it could be converted to a television screen.

maxice i see where you're comin from. I think theoretically it COULD be possible, but it would require too much work. I mean, you'd need a program that fed the N-gage screen signal to the USB port. And remember the USB port and circuitry is not designed to carry video signals, only data, so you'd have to convert it to data and then reconvert it to video in a small adapter on the cable. Then hook that up through SCART or an RCA composite or s-video. Of course remember you'd have a game and this extremely complex program running on the n-gage so you'd need more power in the system. The adapter on the cable to turn the USB data signal into a video signal would need to be pretty complex. And all you'd end up with is a shitty 176x208 game stretched out across your TV screen.
That's why it usually requires a graphics chip and specialized circuitry even in a laptop to display the signal on a TV. But I'm all for an all-in-one multimedia/communications/computer/camera/gaming device that can hook up to your TV and is as small as a PDA and lasts 6 months on a single battery charge. Please do tell me if you see or invent one.

I was just going to say that...
