I got new 6610i. Wasn't able to unlock with Crux or Nokia Free calc. Did the same in September with another 6610i and the first code was right for unlocking the mobile phone.
Has the calculation for the code changed??????? Any ideas?????

blah blah,
theres no change in calculating the codes, but newer phones have some old serials blacklisted, so that they dont accept mastercdes which are calced with these ones...

this site's calculator generates same codes like any other ASIC 2 model.

it makes no differnce between old and new imei's.

Recently purchased a 6610i from O2 Ireland. The IMEI starts with 3553... and the software version is 4.10 08-10-04. The phone was made in Hungary. Tried NokiaFREE Calc 3.10 using the default Asic2 V2 33820 to generate the codes but it did not work. Any ideas? Is 6610i really an Asic 2? Some posts say newer 6610i is Asic 5. If it is Asic 5, shall I use V2 33820 box serial also? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem - 6610i on O2 in the UK (IMEI <REMOVED>) - did you have any luck finding a code solution? I've tried three codes and daren't risk any more!

Hi,

I had the same problem in that Free Calc etc. seemed to generate the wrong number BUT I managed to find an older version of some s/w that generated slighty different numbers and these Worked!!!.

All you have to do is use your favorite calculator to generate a number and for the second digit, subtract 1 from it (eg. 1->0, 9->8 etc.) so for example if your details generated this:-
#pw+313346336115454+1#

Then you would change the second digit only and enter this:-
#pw+303346336115454+1#

Mark. :)
