Man that sucks! what was the name of the ebay seller you bought it from? there should be an online database of scammers like that. I got my card from somone called flashman852 He's a genuine seller, I havent seen any 1Gb cards on there yet but i expect they'll be along soon.

Complain to ebay and you may be able to get your money back if you payed via paypal.

good luck. Dave.

just one question, was it an RS-mmc or just a plain old MMC card you bought? the card i have is an RS-mmc and came with an extension unit for plugging into the cardreader on my pc, much faster for transferring files than bluetooth or IR.

...I would buy this one: http://cgi.ebay.at/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=24029&item=6353701724&rd=1&ssPageName=WD2V ...
...I think that u can trust this seller and this card has 5 years waranty which is more than great...
...75€ are about 65$ which is a good price in my eyes...

just a plain old MMC

Hmm, in that case you cant use it with nokia's, I think rs-mmc and mmc are roughly the same price now anyway. did you buy it to use in your phone?

oops, sorry, i was assuming it was something like the 6230 or 6260 you were using it in. Mines a 6260, that will only accept rsmmc.

Does anyone know how much power mmc cards take? the battery on the 6260 is pretty lame, i was thinking that a 512mb lump may draw quite a bit of power.

power consumpson is very low for all MMCs so i dont think thats the prob after u charge it a few times the batt life gets longer, if u look out for it youll notice the diff, other then that there mite be a third-party high-spec battery, but im not sure there is, or if there safe

Hi there :)

Just been out looking for those myself yesterday. Since i can not buy online (lack of credit card) i looked at MBK here in Bangkok.

A 1-GB MMC (normal MMC that is, no RS) branded "NMC" costs 4.400 Baht, which equals 110 us$. Those are tested with 3650 and 6600 phones (each shop tests before sells, they want to make sure). The cards come with 5-year warranty.

I use a 256 MB card of the same brand in my 3650 and will switch to 512 MB soon (i can't afford the big one). 512 MB's are 2.700 Baht (67,50 us$) and 256 MB's are 1.400 Baht (35 us$). These are retail prices in the shop!

Kind regards.....

Thanh
