Installing SIS apps on 3650

Ok,

I put the .sis apps on the root folder of my mmc card (through my USB MMC reader), but they are not showing up on the manager. Did I miss somthing here?

What kind of manager do You use? It's impossible with standart one, You need SeleQ, FileManager or any other programm.
Than You will find it E:/Yor file and install it.

I use either FExplorer or SeleQ 2c what is on the C or E drives. Or even FileManager is another good 1 2 use. :-)

if you can't see your apps on the phone manager try dloding "unmakesis" for your pc from here (http://www.atz-soft.com/AtzSoft.UnMakeSIS.v0.9.DEMO.zip) and open your stuff with it..
then put in E:/system what you'll find. :)

Maybe Your friends have Bluetooth or IrDA port!?! You can send file manager via them and than use card reader.
Also You can try to find and download it via WAP.

I've now got a 3650 and I use infrared on my laptop to transer files. I downloaded the correct version of Nokia PC suite for 3650 and I try and move .jar and .sis applications/games onto the Downloads sections of applications so they are ready to be installed. The Nokia PC suite shows that there are applications on teh 3650 but the phone only recognises the .jar and not the .sis. :S:S
Please someone help me out.
Where do I go from here?

Make sure you're transferring the file to the "Installation and Java Files" folder. Once the files are on your phone, go to the Application manager and the files should be there. However, I don't have a clue what files you're trying to installed, and if they're warez and whatnot, then you never know if they're even .SIS files.

u do not need to use pc suite to install. just right click, send via infra red. it shld end up on ur phone's inbox. then click on it to install, delete it after installation. if the file is v big, u might wanna set ur message inbox to be saved to mmc 1st.

using pc suite, u need to go tools, install device software from there.

If you have the PC suite installed, and bluetooth activated on your phone, you can simple click on the SIS file to install it to your phone.

Also, you can also try sending the program via email as an attachment and install from there.
