I'm looking for one on eBay, there's tons of 'em for under $100, I'm just worried it's not going to work with my N-gage. Which brands are confirmed to be compatible?

they should all work on n-gage
but i know that samsung MMCs and DUGI MMCs work on n-gage

Well, from what I've read so far some brands are just simply not recognized by the phone, that's why I'm asking...I know that some people have purchased them already and just would like to know which ones are confirmed to work with an n-gage no problem...

I use ATP 512MB & 1GB multimedia cards in my N-gages. Never had any problems with them. :-D

there is a 1 gb mmc card at newegg.com thats 70 some dollars and one of thet reviews for it say it does work on the n gage plus its new for cheap and some warranty and return policy so if it dont work you could just return it anyway im going to buy one myself when i get the money so if you do buy one tell me how well it works laterz ;)

Don't bother with Kingmax mmc. After awhile the N-gage QD can't tell if it's in the QD or not. I can't use my Kingmax 256mb mmc in my QD anymore. The same goes 4 the 512mb & i read somewhere the 1GB as well. :sad:

Hmmm! I'm not 2 comfortable when it comes 2 ordering things from far away countries outside of the U.S. Even if they do have the best prices on whatever.

That's why u stick to eBay so u can check their feedback at least and if something goes wrong get your money back from Paypal. I paid 40 pounds + shipping.

Yes! Twinmos claims that a 1gb mmc will work in an N-gage.

Bought the damn thing on Jan 9, today is Jan 27, don't have it yet... E-mailed the guy, told me it was shipped Jan 24. I'm sure it'll get here eventually but I'm pissed off that they waited 2 weeks to even ship it... Their eBay id if anyone wants to know:logjenjas .Just my personal little rant, pay no attention to it...

I deal with eBay constantly (no other choice, I couldn't even find an mmc card locally) with no major problems but why in the hell would you wait 2 weeks before even shipping the thing? I've read feedbacks for this guy, people in the UK would get it sooner than me in Canada and the item is shipped from the US?

don't know is the card reader problem or wat?
i should format the card is FAT right?
and i find that when i have less then 500mb data inside will work fine
and i have just upgrade fameware a week ago

This happened with mine too I finally worked out that it was the card reader that was causing it because it happened loads the first couple of weeks I had it and I was about to send it back until I tried it in my other card reader and I've had no problems since.

Mine's pretty much full already, 5 games, 7 cd's and some videos... and I thought 1 gb was gonna be too much for me...
