3650 repair with serial cable

My nokia 3650 doesn't start up... when I try to turn it on id reboot several times...
I'd like to reset it but as it doesn't turn on I can't insert the reset code...
I found a serial cable on ebay for nokia 3650... Can I use this cable to reset the phone (even if the phone doesn't start up?)
Which software I need to do that?

Try format user area with griffin box, if doestn't work try flashing your phone !

Thanks 4 reply, but as I haven't a griffin flasher , I' asked if i can reset user data with a serial cable.

nope! you can't use a serial cable which i think an FBUS cable.
you should use GRIFFIN/TORNADO or PRODIGY to format user area at least.
