Can any1 help me pls!!

just got a code for my Samsung A300 (*2767*637#)
it did not work, why is that can any1 help me pls!and i payed £5.95 for it!
feel like i have been cheated

Just noticed on the box it says the phone is a SGH-A300 is this different than A300! have i just purchased the wrong code??

Thanks, that did not work either. do i enter the code in without the sim card i wish to use. or should i have the sim card in the phone

i also paid for the first code-it to didnt work-least i only paid 0.99 thou off of ebay-5mins later i found the damn code free on cnet.com! oh well live and learn.
must admit i did try with sim card in so thx for the advice raj-im gonna try both of these codes now.

p.s just used your code raj and worked like u said,switched off and on,but put sim card in and got wrong card message?will it only unlock with cable you think?-btw sim is with fresh(carphonewarehouse)
