I just got a Nokia 1100 in the UK. its locked on orange. want to unlock it with a few instructions.

can someone help me please?

there is a free unlock code calc with instructions at the top of the page on the tool bar !!!

But here´s a short step list

a) get Unique SW calc
b) get your network operator code in www.gsmworld.com, under GSM roaming section
c) use the following settings
Box: 33552
ASIC: 2

and your IMEI and network operator code.

That should give you seven codes. Try the last one. If it doesn´t work, try the first one. If neither of those two works, post again.

Try those two codes JUST ONCE, because you have only 5 tries, and on the 5th it locks, and there on the only way to unlock it is via cable (meaning flashing it).
