I need help to unlock my own Nokia 6200 phone (GSM from AT&T), ***PLEASE***
I have tried the nokiafree.org calculator, but the Nkia 6200 is not listed.
I verified the IMEI on both the phone and on the box that the phone came in. The remaining
details are taken from the box. My phone details are:
Nokia 6200 phone (GSM) from AT&T
DCT4 category/type [NPL-3]
IMEI: <value>
MATERIAL: <value>
ICCID: <value>
Number Above Bar Code: <value>
Any help will greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
You may reach me via email at cpn66 at hotmail dot com.
Thank you,
Cameron

Thank you for your reply and help. I will attempt your suggestion. The DCT4 cals gives up to 7 codes. Should I enter all seven?
Also, I apologize for cross-posting twice -- my mistake. I should have read the rules better.
Thank you.

I entered the codes from the nokiafree.org dct4 calculator. After entering the first code I got a message "phone unlocked". Next I entered the 7-th code, and I got a message "phone was not locked" or "phone already unlocked" (something like that...).
Is this good/OK? Was it done after the first code worked, or did I [correctly] need to enter the seventh code also? Is that it?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP! I appreciate it very much!!!

yes its good and its ok..
generaly the first code is the only needed
but some networks need other codes
and the 7th substitutes all others:)
the 1st code is the simlock code
the 7th code is all locks code
but some models this 7 code doesnt work, like 6600
so i've decided to help you this way ..:) it was safer:)
congratulations you get yourself your phone unlocked:)

I am on att and have to switch to Cingular. They want me to purchase a whole new phone and I don't like that idea, at least not right now.
My phone info:
IMEI: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I have already tried two other codes posted on here and don't want to try anymore without giving you my IMEI number!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Settings for unlock AT&T 6200 31038 DCT4 ASIC2 V2 GEN33820
What does that mean?
Sorry for posting my number, I thought the unlock codes were generated by giving that number.
What do I do? What info do you need from me?

I didn't write them down, but I tried the unlcock thing on here. Is there any way we can talk on the private messenger so you can walk me through it? I know how to enter the code and I chose that I was on the ATT wireless network on the calculator and that is where I got the codes. I feel stupid, I don't understand what you are trying to say about the generation thing.
Thanks again, and sorry if I am being a pain!

 I figured it out!!! Thanks so much. The first code worked it said restrictions removed! So now I guess that means my phone is completely unlocked!! yeah.
Is there anything else I should need to know. Like will I still be able to get on the internet with a cingular wireless card, and can I still send and receive multi media message? :-)

ninjana, I followed your instructions exactly on my Nokia 6200 on ATT&T Wireless (which no longer exists). Now I have a phone I use again. I stuck a T-mobile sim card in and it works. Thank you for taking the time to post instructions that even a newbie like me could follow.
