What do i think about Pretec 2Gb MMC. Prepare 2 pay a hefty price 4 it. That's what i think.

2gb that are more than enough do you ask me!eks a phone app take ca 100-500kb how many thing do you really need on a phone:P

2b honest with u Farsh2002. No i don't need a 2GB mmc, that's a little 2 much 4 me. I have 2 ATP 1GB mmc. 1 has all the N-gage games on it. And the other has Smartmovie files on it. Also have 2 ATP 512mb mmc, 4 java/sis apps & games. :smile:

Formatting a 2GB mmc in a N-gage/N-gage QD would take a good while 2. That's another reason also, why i wouldn't buy a 2GB mmc.

hehe it will take years after you click the menu if you have filled the 2gb mmc card to max think of the poor ram on the phones:P

Yeah! Quake3000! Ur right on that point. I can not even begin 2 know how fast or slow a 2GB mmc would run on a QD.

ar, i have been waiting for one! i was tinking if i shld get a 1 gig mmc, or wait for a 1 gig rsmmc with adaptor to use with my ngage.

but im sure the price is high for now, guess i gotta wait.

y do i want to buy such a big mmc? i can use it as a "thumbdrive", theres a mmc/sd card reader in the market now, v v small in size, just plug a mmc or sd card and u can use as thumbdrive!

of course, for all my games, mp3s, videos, apps, etc. hehhehe. :-P

anyone knows how much it costs? :???:

why do we need it? because it's 2 GB as opposed to 1. 2 GB is most of your music. 2 GB is every game and app made for series 60 AND n-gage. 2 GB is almost 20 hours of smart movie video. 2 GB is AWESOME. Oh, and this one is MMC 4.0, which means it's dual voltage and is the fastest flash media out there. That doesn't hurt. Same article that says Pretec also does DVRSMMC's up to 64 MB though, so maybe it's wrong.

Even if i could get a 2GB mmc dirt cheap. I still wouldn't buy 1, it's just 2 much wait time 2 4mat it & other factors 2 consider.
