Hi, this is my first post.
I have been trying to unlock my nokia 3120 on OPTUS network in Australia.
A code I have calculated didn't work, so I have purchased a code at some website, just in case I calculated an worng code.
But the code which I have purchased and I was given was the exactly same code as I calculated.
Obviously, both of them didn't work either.
Has anyone had same problem? or Has anyone unlocked nokia 3120 which is locked to Optus in Australia?
I have purchased the phone as brand new.
If you have any idea to help me, I much appreciate.

I have used NokiaFree calculator and SmartCalc PRO.
To use 2 programs and purchasing a code , I ensured that simple mistake auch as wrong IMEI etc... wasn't taken on my calculation.
3 of them gave me the exactly same codes.
Yes, there were asic 2 and serial box V2.
I have no idea why the code is not working.

First of all, I have to say that I much appreciate your great help.
Thanks a lot.
I have tried 1st code just now and It worked!!!!
It seems that the box serial you gave me, is needed to unlock Optus network in Australia.
Once again, thank you very much for your help.

Thanks ninjana!
Nokia 3120 locked to Optus Australia...
32835 worked a charm!
None of the other codes worked (tried different phones to test them).
I think the NokiaFREE Calculator has to be updated to reflect this problem.
Oh and i was getting sick of the people on all the forums who kept on giving me bad codes and insisting was doing something wrong! I mean, i work in a mobile phone repair shop, so i don't need n00bs telling me off...
Thanks again ninjana

Hi, I believe that I may have a simliar problem as nori29jp. I have been using the NokiaFree calculator software and the 7th code is not working.
There is no selection for my phone:
Nokia 3120 (RH-50) not RH-19
USA - Cingular ---> Not Cingular-Pacific Bell
They recently bought AT&T, but my phone uses the original Cingular network.
Worse I've tried 4 times only one more left.
Thanks for any help.

I've got one of these 3120's from Optus too... But unlocking the lil bugger hasn't been very successful for me so far.
The codes generated by the calc on nokiafree didn't work for me (whilst they have worked perfectly on other occassions!)
In short, I've used all 5 remote attempts and now need to look at cable unlocking.
I've got hold of a DKU-5, since it claims to be an M/Fbus cable - but so far cannot find any software that supports it. (Pity I can't pretend to be dislexic and convince it that it's really a 3210!) :D
Has anyone got any pointers for software that will work with this one - and can anyone verify whether the DKU-5 can be used to unlock?
I've been googling for a couple of hours and just end up with tonnes of bad links and outdated information. :(
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I am in the same boat.. down to 1 last try.. have a Nokia 3120 on Optus... Tried it with v2 serial (+1 and +7) and then with the serial suggested in this thread... same..
I was using the 3.1 of the Unlocker. Any suggestions I would be glad to take (I have read the FAQ and searched and this appears to be the best thread to ask).

Does this code work with 3100, 3120 (RH-19) only or there are more nokia models being opened by it?
May be there are more codes like this for other models?
Does anybody know? :???:
