Can't unlock my 1100 without the network code. Does anyone know the network code for Tracfone? It's the only Nokia that I can't do. Any solutions would be helpfull. Would, however, prefer remote unlocking solution. No cable.

I know. I have alread searched every inch of the net and every code calculator I've heard of and there is no answer. I am begining to think that they don't have a working network code. And even if they do it does no good because no one seems to know it. Any other ideas?

Good idea. Now all I have to do is find a Tracfone number to input. That shouldn't be hard though. Thanks. :)

I did a search on google, and it seems that tracfone is the name of the service, and they use Cingular network. In www.gsmworld.com, under roaming section, there no company listed as tracfone, as Yotamz said.

I will try to find out more... but there it is.. on the net

...Cingular is not the network that Tracfone is locked to. I have perminently locked 3 phones Trying different combinations of network codes and unlocking calcs with no luck. The site listed above is a great site and an awsome tool, but did no solve my current problem. Thanks for the help. If you come up with anything new please post. Thanks.

Almost every network is listed on gsmworld.com.

Since Tracfone is not there, I would say that is pretty safe to assume that they are using another provider`s network.

Doing a search on google took me to this thread http://www.cellphonehacks.com/viewtopic.php?t=31512&sid=8d0181040bd5e9240ba5bad2782b3cce

Take a look there. I don`t know if you already saw it, because you posted this same question on the 1100 forum, and I`m sorry for not beeing of much further help, but this is what I found.

Seems probably, for what that thread says, that Tracfone borrows networks from more than just one provider, as this guys say here.

My best regards

have tried this one

http://www.numberingplans.com/index.php?goto=isdn

my cell phone number is 786-489-1543 on tracfone

it gave some info along with 4 digit network code,
tried to combine it with nokia free calclulator 3.10 with no luck,
tried to put 310xxxx and it says mcc+mnc is not correct,
is should have 8 digits in total and i'm getting only 7 :((((

tried to put different codes 4 times in my nokia 1100b, so there is 1 left right ? :)

the network code I used (and it worked) is:31099901
the problem is tracfone still is embedded in the software, so it still wants units to make/receive calls--does anybody know how to fix this? Would Cingular do it? Would an unaffiliated repair shop?

This thread is talking about what I came to this board to find out.

Maybe I could BUMP this thread for an answer to the question:

Reset the phone to default?

Flash it with new software?

...and maybe ask for a little direction on where to find what I need to do this. :-)

P.S. Happy New Year 2006 everyone.
