i think yes.. had'nt test it yet..
it happens that in asic 5 codes, in newer phones the only code who works is the 1st:) others gave code error:)
like in nokia 6600
and others..

Ok....so there are lots of comments on here but does anyone know if any of them definitely work?

Unlocking all my old phones, even the 9210i was easy....Why is this one being such a pain?

All the best

you can deffinatley use a ufs3 box to unlock you'r 9500 but to buy a ufs box will cost you about £150 as it's a flasher box. it would be cheaper to go to a nokia service centre, there are no codes or clips which will do this phone at the moment.

lately some people is experimenting problems to change the box sn on the standalone version of nokiafree calc v 3.10. Try to use the online calculator.

Best regards

with the standalone calc go into "options" and select "expert mode" you will be allowed to change all what you want
but be carefull most of time default options are the best solution, but not always

Mr. Gieffel, thanks for the tip. I forgot that I set the calc for expert mode permanently, that was the problem that people was experimenting and I didn't know what to say. Now I know.

Thanks again

Thanks Darx

I noticed a few companies on the net that say they can do a code unlock, but i reckon i will go into a nokia service center as you suggest...better safe than sorry!

use only 1st code
if does not work use the 7th code
you must remove your card and input the code without the card
download the nokia free 3.10
you will have to select

any other verification that andrewleonard codes will work?

Yes, those settings just unlocked my Orange 9500 first time! I used DCT4 Code Calculator 5.4 by Hollowman, but entered info exactly as described by andrewleonard. And it was ASIC 2, not 5.

PS My first post here -- found this forum while looking to unlock my new 9500 without paying anyone. Great site, thanks!
