ok i can confim that the bl-6c battery will fit in the 6600 with back cover on too, its just a tight fit :D

I would have 2 say, yes it should fit in the 6600. The Bl-6c battery does fit in 1 of my 3650's. I tried it some months ago. And the Bl-6c battery is just a battery with more voltage than the Bl-5c battery. I called Nokia on this, when i first got my N-gage QD.

i'm using on my original N-Gage too though the back cover is a bit open on the top portion. :D

That battery is very good compared to e.g. the 3650 battery. Mine lasts 2-3 days even when I play games several hours a day.

Hey,
To my knowledge the voltage is the same, it's just the Amperage thats different, hence the longer lasting power.
More amp-hours means longer battery life.
This is also a trick for use in the 6630 to, something I want to try soon as the BL-5C is limited in the 6630.

Yeah! The same here Sony_Ericsson. Even when i want the battery 2b dead, so i can fully charge it. It's still has live in it, even after i charged it 3 days earlier. What a great battery it is. :smile:

Its true that BL-6C battery will provide more power...
By simple relationship,
Using BL-6C ratings...
V=IR
3.7=1070m*R (If the voltage is right, I presume that it's the same as BL-5C)
R=3.7/1070m
R=3.46 ohms (3sf)
compared to BL-5C ratings...
V=IR
3.7=850m*R
R=3.7/850m
R=4.35 ohms
Thus the BL-6C clearly have a lower resistance which by right enchances the power performance on the phone!!!
Btw there may be other things that can prove me wrong e.g. the circuit configuration of the phone.
And if there's a current limiter in the phone... it may also bring harm to the phone too! Just be warned.

What is this for a calculation?
This "Resistance" has no meaning, if you want to calculate something useful calculate the energy that is stored in the battery...
Energy = Voltage * Capacity
So:
3.7V * 0.85Ah = 3.145Wh for BL-5C
3.7V * 1.05Ah = 3.885Wh for BL-6C
That's 1.23x more energy.
As the voltage is equal you can just compare capacities...
And as long as the battery voltage is the same there is absolutely no risk for the phone. You will just notice a slightly longer charge time ;-)

BL-6C is better than the BL-5C battery
BL-6C is one of the most powerful batteries, the QD uses more energy than the other phones so the QD's standby time is nearly the same as the others!!
