Unlocking Nokia 6820

I am having problem unlocking my Nokia 6820, I tried the codes generated and when I enter it it said code error. I only have three more tries, please somebody help me unlock it with a new code.

then download the nokia free 3.10from here..

your setting should be asic 2
and box serial Griffin new 34144
use only 1st code and dont forget to remove the sim card first
if you get code error message dont try any more codes before more information

i tried exactly what you said to do and it doesnt work still. i heard it has to be done with cables??? one try left what do you think

I have the same problem. I have a 6820b rh-26. There are no options on the calculator for this model. I have tried the 6800 like some people have done but it doesn't work. Its possible I am doing it wrong but I have used the calculator a bunch of other times with no problems. I have 2 tries left. If someone could give me specific instructions for this phone I will try it.

I did just one so not enought for me to say I'm sure of it . Thought i posted for more discustion. BTW i'm using different calc, but i guess that does not matter. I alway use my calc and crux combine to compair

I ordered up a AT&T 6820b just to unlock it. I compared CyberGSM and NokiaFREE. I tried CyberGSM first using +1 and +7 codes, along with another. None of them worked. CyberGSM was using box serial 32820. NokiaFREE (by default) used box serial 33820 and generated a working unlock code (+1). I have previously unlocked a AT&T 6800 with CyberGSM and the default box serial.

To roughly compare here are the unlock codes, very similar
CyberGSM (bSerial 32820) : #pw+ 09 48 03 51 42 70 50 3 +1#
NokiaFREE (bSerial 33820) : #pw+ 08 48 03 51 42 70 50 3 +1# - WORKED!

Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

For what it's worth, these are the settings that have worked for me for 6820b phones locked to Rogers Wireless in Canada:

Nokia 6820b (RH-26)
DCT4
ASIC 2
Box Serial: 32821

Use code +1 or +7

The same configuration worked for me - I have an ATT 6820b:

I entered my IMEI # and selected USA ATT and used the following:
GEN set to "Asic 6"
Nokia Model set to "6800"

The calculator came back with the 7 unlock codes and this:

IMEI: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
NETWORK: 31038
PHONE TYPE: 2
BOX: 32821

Code #1 worked for me. FYI, this was my 3rd attempt. I had previously tried "New Griffin" and "v2" in GEN and those codes DID NOT WORK!
