I dont seem to be able to send tones with my 6630.
When I try to add a midi tone to the MMS message it says "unable to insert object format not supported".
Also if I try to send them with bluetooth it says they are protected! which was not a problem when I sent them from my old phone.
Has anyone else had this problem and know what to do?

You need a little freeware app called mms it (the english version is 1.3), it can send any file type.

or try using profil mail explorer, heard it lets u bypass the protection when u send via bt.

I tried a lot with MMS IT.. But it is not no use,it can't Bypass the copyright protection of NOKIA, we had any exclusive thread over it..

Mms it does work, i've used it on 5 different s60's to send every popular s60 file type including midi, I read the other thread and it looks like you have a problem with access points not the app.

Are you sure those phones support full midis? A lot of the older phones only support 4 voice midi files.

I wasn't trying to prove myself right, I was trying to help and understand the problem in case I ever run into it. You seem to have gotten your knickers in a twist because you can't get the app to work and I can and because I can't lay a simple solution on your noob lap you throw your toys out the pram, fannoid.
