help anyone.while using my nokia6620 it suddenly froze up.so i restarted it by removing the battery.when i turned it back on it kept rebooting/restarting automatically.so i removed the mmc and now its working fine.can someone please tel lme whats wrong with my mmc do i need a new one?

You probably have corupted data on MMC card, try to put them in card reader and explore trough to find out whats wrong with them.

Even more likely is that there's a program thats causing the bother. Start the phone in safe mode (hold the pencil key during start up) then remove any suspect apps.

ther is no safe mod on 6620, pencil trick dosent work on OS7 phones

I'm not totally sure about the 6620 but the 6600 definately has safe mode and is os7.

Dont u be so sure, Im try many times on my old 6600 without any success !?

Im using symbian phones since first models of 7650, Im try almost every avilable phone in market, dosent mother is it S60, SPV or UIQ, etc, if I remeber right only 7650 and 3650 have possibility to bootup in safe mode!?

Im try and cant notice any changes if u try normal and safe mod trick boot up?

Believe me, the 6600 has safe mode. I've used it loads of times but just to be sure I got my 6600 out and booted it in safe mode, the apps that usually launch on start up didn't, same as on the 3650/7650. That is the only difference between normal and safe modes on all s60s.

Yeah I know that :-D
But as I said I check few times on my old phone, safe mode than App manger to see task and process and all the same, everything is running, FSC, Sprofiles, etc, maybe it is a firmware issue, Im try few minutes ago on 6630 and yeah, they have safe mode to, LOL...
