Hello :)
I bade my lovely 3650 farewell (no, i did NOT kick it out!!) and got myself a 6600. Well, i don't really miss those "Memory full" errors when trying to run ANYthing.......... but something i DO miss, and that is the nice zooming of "Photographer"!
I have version 2.02 of that application, and also 2.4. Both of them will not run on the 6600, but interestingly the 2.02 does as long as it's a trial version - after activation, it will not run anymore. It just will come with "app closed: cam".
I got CameraFX working after i gave up on Photographer, but the zoom in CameraFX is nowhere near as good in picture quality as Photographer.
So, does anyone here know a version that will work on a 6600? I don't care if it's beta 0.1 as long as it has the zoom! It's all that i need (or alternatively, another application that will work with the 6600 and offer such a good zoom).
With kind regards.....

Hello :)
My 6600 is running that very same firmware, V 4.09.1, 26-02-04, NHL-10. I can install either version of Photographer without problem, but when i start them, the trial version of 2.02 will open and offer to buy a license (no camera connected). The Trial of 2.4 won't do anything but come with "App closed: cam". Once i have activated either version (got key for 2.02 and cracked app + dll file for 2.4) BOTH go "App closed: cam" and shut themself down. It seems like when it starts the actual camera, this causes some sort of error. Also HipCam, produced the same error when starting, and a newer version of Phillips Camcoder does it too. An older CamCoder version yet runs fine, and even records WITH sound (not like the 3650, sound stopped after 2 seconds).
Is there actually a video recorder software that can zoom?
Kind regards.......

Hey thanks for that!! I did not know that and would have never found out. I just tested it and indeed, it's amazing. The zoomed video's are of superb quality too!
About Photographer - i am aware of that license manager thing, because i once accidentally uninstalled it and Photographer didn't want to work anymore. However i never change the SIM anyway, so that wouldn't be a problem. If only i got the program to work..... it just won't do.
Maybe need to go to MBK and get a newer version (is 2.4 the last?)
Kind regards......

Hipcam should work if you install it to phone memory. I had bother finding a working cracked version of photographer too, eventually i found a file called "all for images" which had photographer and a couple of other open bit apps and it worked. For an alternative to photographer get Flexicam, it has proven to be the best.

Hello :)
Dear Yuppo, thanks a million for that! You are right... Flkexi Cam is sort of better than Photographer, specially when it comes to "zoom". Works like a dream (even tough on install it said "application may be incompatible with phone").
I got version 0.70 and it's great :)
Kind regards.....

Get ver. 0.80 - really great.
According to application sales report, Photographer is on top on all camera application, but flexicam i think is best for me - usage/quality i mean.
