Yeah, there is a java game called "Strategy Wars", somewhat similar, although no where near as good quality.

Java is shit when it comes to games like this. I haven't seen any any Symbian RTS game yet as far as I remember. But on Palm and pocket PC they have this game: http://www.handmark.com/warfare/preview.php

Should be possible to make something similar for S60.

yea, old C n C was cool, maybe symbian will have it soon (not in java ;) )

Java is more or less shit full stop. There are only a very small minority of games that are actually decent java games, ie, Fatal Force.

Yeah, some java games are OK but I'll rather play a Symbian game anytime.

yeah, java games are bad in the overall, but there are some good games
an RTS game can't b a java game!!
because RTS games are so advanced, that's why most of them are working just on PC ( that's my point of view!!)
i really hope that there will be a symbian RTS game. :rolleyes:
but the nearest thing to the truth will be an N-gage game ( like civilization, which i never heard anything about its date of release!! )

The best RTS game i've found for s60 is Cannon Fodder on Vsun, it's one of the few roms that is genuinely playable on my ngage.

Yes Cannon is cool.
If only Another Guest, or Dave or whatever maker of pico drive calls himself was kind enough to finish his work.
We could have Dune 2 ( strange airstrike in first mission ends whole game:(), port of Commandos madeby Russians (lack of xyz buttons) and even beta of COMMAND AND CONQUER (messed graphics) playable .
