I can compile mados

I have 2 problems. the first is in using wincvs, i can login with the password behave!, the second is in compiling mados the error's messsage is "/home/-gamez-/gccarm/arm-thumb-elf/bin is no such file or directory". How i process to compile successfuly mados.

what is your cvs ver?

i use 1.2 and it works perfectly. :)

did you add some information to your registry?

I have wincvs1.2 and wincvs 1.3 but doesn't work.
For the error that i have mentionned in the last message, i have resolve it, in fact there is an error in referring the compiler path in compile.conf file. But the new error was occured in linking object phase that consist of :
"Compile Error:

/bin/ld: cannot find -luser32
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
"
In additionnal i have tried to compile mados under linux "Mandrake 9.2" but it stopped. the error's message is " DCT3algo_arm.o unreconized file"

Can you attach the version of mados and wincvs that you work with. thanks

in wincvs you should set these things:

admin menu/preferences:
GENERAL:
enter the cvsroot:
[email protected]:/root

authentication:passwd

GLOBALS: you have to be set: Supply control when adding...
use tcp/ip 9
WINCVS:you have to set your home directory.. for me it is c:\

then ok


after that admin/login behave!
Create/checkout module
enter the checkout module:nokia/MADos (the high letter is important and you have to use / and not \..
Local folder: where you want to be downloaded... for me this is also c:\
it will make a new directory nokia\mados

Why don't you take some time to read the posts there since most of the problems were already answered?

I know it's hard since some threads have dozens of posts but it's better than asking same questions and in the wrong place

you don't need to change anything in compile_all.sh

and run one of these files.

hi friend,
i have read some post from Mados section, also i have download all the messages posted in this section, but there is no message coresspondant to my case. the problem is tha tree of directory used in compile_all.sh was not exit in my cygwin's installation. just i need to know the name of right package of cygwin to use it. thanks

When installing cygwin the MADos folder isn't installed. :eek:

To get it you must connect to the server where MADos project is stored and download all the files in one session
The info for that job is in MADos section in the forum ;)

let's me give youmore information about my situation :
I have the source file of MADos, in additionnal i have download the file from wincvs "last update of MADos".
i have installed cygwin.
what's the problem ?
first the compile_all.sh wasn't compatible with the tree of cygwin's installation : i have make some change like adapting the directory's compiler.
,second i can't compile any version.
"PC" : problem with ld -luser32 unknowm option
"Embed" and other's : -mthumb-interwork unrecognized option.
there's all, i hope that yopu can help me to perform compilation's task
