I suggest this one is quite new.

This 71xx areas is about the older dct3 ones.

Maybe it's better to ask this question in the dct4 or symbian areas, pending what type Urs is.

I think a new section for the s90's would be a good idea. They might still be symbian but they are as different from s60 as they are to s80.

Hmmm, I find it very strange that Nokia made a whole new platform just to drop it after one phone (well two but one was never released) it sounds like a big waste of resources to me.

Are you sure you haven't misread the Nokia press release where they said the s80's were being phazed out?

and its development and will be providing further software
for it. however there will be no new s90 phones.

I read that Nokia has made a back cover, that makes 7710 capable of receiving digital TV. They are going to test it only in Sweden. But if some country starts with digital TV for mobile phones, then Nokia will sell the cover to consumers. Otherwise we will have to wait until 2006 to get TV in our phones.

where id u get this " prototype " from....what is it a s90 software emulation on the PC or did u get a handest prototype ??........if its a s90 OS emulation for the PC pls mail me the link/site whr i can get it from <email removed>

Does anyone know when the Nokia 7710 will be released on contract here in the UK?? You can buy handsets off Ebay, but it is no-where in the shops.
All the shops say 1st quarter of 2005, which is now, isn't it???

I have friend who works for nokia and he uses the prototypes for testing to see where problems occur and then fix the problems on the final version so there is no problems on the release version also unsure of its OS as this is a prototype and its SOS might be changed in the final this is an early release

I'm sorry, but your wrong the tv has only been tested in FINLAND. Those Swedish dorks don't know anything about it. The 7710 will be in stores in Finland in 2 months.
