I have tried more than 5 to unlock my mobile 3220.
I read that the only solution is using a cable.Which cable should I use> Can it be the DKU-5 that comes with the mobile?
thanks

Hey dude,

I will answer your question. Basically once it is Double locked you are screwed! I did the same thing on my old 3220 since no one would answer my question on forums lol. DKU-5 will NOT work to unlock it.

For nokias you need a special unlocking clip, that plugs into the little round metal contacts underneath the battery. Here is a photo of my 3100 - you can see them right beside where the SIM card slots in.

On the 3220 it is a bit different. but you will basically need a special unlocking clip to do it. They are available but i'm not sure which one fits the 3220 because it is a newer phone

Good luck :o)

any other questions - post em up I will try to help out my fellow newbies

the clip works for nokia dct3 phones, but not for nokia dct4.

dct4 phones must be flashed if there have been input 5 wrong codes. For that you need a box like prodigy or griffin, which I think is rather expensive for just one phone. The flash process replace the firmware of the phone with another one that has no lock programmed. The boxes usually come with a huge array of firmware and the appropiate cable for each phone (i think that the griffin comes with something like 34 cables). Anyway, i think it's senseless buy a box just to unlock one phone.
