Hello :)

This is (yet again) about some quirk of the 6260. Since several days there is an icon on the display, which i believe is the "divert" icon. It disappears immediately after "cancel all diverts" is executed, yet after rebooting the phone it comes back even tough the diverts are still cancelled!

That icon appeared there all of a sudden a few days ago, without any user action been taken to get it there.

What can be done to make it disappear?

Kind regards.......

your Thanh

Hello Thanh,

Waala, that is also the problem of my cousin last week on his 6260 (But not only in 6260, i heard also thet my co workers having this problem on his 7610), even you cancel the divert it comes back. Do you already restore the Factory settings, or format the phone, what is your service provider? I asked my cousin what he do and he says that he restore factory settings and format the phone and the icon disappeared.

Hello :)

It is rather strange. I haven't heard of anyone having this issue before...... however, so far we did the usual *#7370# thing, which is supposed to be a "restore factory settings" but on this phone does not much except wiping out the time and date settings, and bringing the messed volume settings back on track. Sometimes it also helps in the "App closed: web" issue.

However the icon came back right after the phone booted.

The network in use is AIS (520 01) and the SIM has never been changed/taken out. Also no applications have been installed recently.

Not that the presence of that icon causes any problem, it is just sort of disturbing :)

Kind regards.....
