Hello :)
I got a new problem here, on my 6600. It always comes up with "SIM card not valid" message upon reboot, i have to boot several times before it works.
What might cause that?
I am pretty fed up with the amount of errors that my 6600 has started shooting at me recently!
Regards....

Problems are happening all to you.....
Have you tried with other SIM cards? maybe it's not a phone prob...have you installed some apps that can create problems with your SIM :-?

this is due to your sim card is a little bit thin compare to others and then can't fully contact with 6600,
try to put a piece of paper on the back of ur sim, or used any stick to make it more thick..
or try to use rubber to rub your sim card's golden pin to eliminate those oxidation.

Hello :)
Thanks for replying. I googled the issue yesterday and also tought it might be the SIM. However cleaning it and making sure it had good contact wouldn't solve it, and besides it does NOT happen when i boot into safe mode.
Damn since i used ProfiMail, my autostart is messed. I had several apps that auto-started and everything was fine - untill ProfiMail. There was Psiloc Screensaver, ThaiPluz for thai language, FSCaller and Alarm Manager. Now i already had to uninstall Screensaver ("App closed: Main") and disable thai input on the Thai Pluz (phone would turn itself off after boot). FSCaller uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times.
Need to format huh? Hate it. Lot of work again..........
Regards....
