I've used the code calc to unlock my nokia 5140 but it didnt work. This was prob because I got the network provider wrong the first 3 goes I had at it :oops: . Anyhoo its now code locked and I need some info on how to unlock it via the cable solution.

Sorry im a little new to all this. What do you mean by use box tmobile? Do you mean to select the network tmobile instead of which ever network im using, or is there something called box tmobile that i've not heard of before?

Yeah its code locked :sad: but i've been told its possible to reset the code lock. Is this true and could you point me in the right direction?

No, in DCT4 phones it is not possible. Now you have to unlock it by cable, which means you need to flash the phone in order to replace the old locked firmware with a new copy of it that has no lock written. The equipment is very expensive, a Griffin Box costs ike 450 Euros (you can see the priced at ucables.com, link at the top of this page). But a small repair shop will do the work for you for a small charge.
