2600 unlocked,but not working

Hi, just unlockex my Nokia 2600, got the restriction code removed message, and put in a different network sim card to try it out...but it doesnt pick up the network...only works with the network it was locked to.
any help plz?? :(

your phone might not support the networks frequency. or you havent just unlock all. but if your phone accepts your new sim it is already unlocked. you should try unlocking using a data cable and a noktool 1.8 or the same unlocking soft. if it still doesnt work maybe you have to convert some of your filters by doing modifications on it. may i know what frequency your previous network provider is using and where your phone is manufactured.please do reply im trying to help you at the best of my capability.

hi all i got the same problem with nokia 2600 too. when i put the code in i got the restriction code removed message.. but when i put a different sim card in it not work.
anyone have a best idea thanks a lot

Hello, I have a problem also. Apparently, my phone has already been unlocked in the Czech Republic. It was originally locked into the Oscar network there but my friend had it unlocked so I could use it on the Eurotel network (in Czech). it worked fine. I even went to Malaysia and Thailand and was able to use the networks there without any problem. But now I have returned to the States and have gotten T-Mobile and the Sim won't work!! My IMEI # ............... . Network originally locked: Oscar, Czech Republic

The phone was made in Hungary. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out here or at least guide me in the right direction.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know anything about these phones and unlocking them. I was just looking for some guidance. Also, I did search these forums among others on other websites for the answer. And couldn't find any.
