After nearing 2yr of using ngage, whenever I remove the battery and put it back on. I will have to set the date and time again! This happen to my previous nokia phone as well. Is there anyway to solve this problem?

This happen to me as well (and i think to all n-gage's owners) i read (probably on NFREE) that this happen because the inner battery of the phone is discharge.
But i don't know if there is a way to charge it.... :???:

The only advice i can give you is to change MMC/Battery faster than you usually do....

EDIT: there must be a file that keeps the time :-? (i donno files like system.ini [in C:\system] or CLOCKAPP.dat [in C:\system\data] )

we could copy that file and paste it in the right directory whenever we had to set time and date again (it can be so easy? :-? :-? )

Yes, it seems that your backup battery is dead.
In older Nokias you are able to change it yourself but in this case you probably need to take it for repairs.
Usually the backups last for many years, if the phone has been in daily use and charged always when the main battery is low. Leaving it constantly unused with a empy battery is a sure way to kill the backup battery.
