Hi ppl,
at last ive been able too log in sucessfully.
I have been trying to unblock my Nokia 6230, the IMEI is stopping the phone being used. As I have searched through I have found that you only have 5 chances to unblock with the codes.
I have used 3, and have 2 chances left. the codes i have entered so far are:
#pw+459427074736633+1#
#pw+039803457710616+7#
#pw+5521098822+1#
which did not work.
can some one please help me, I know admonistrators dis-like unblocking code requests but I dont have any other choice.
Please please please help.....
Thanks in advance

Owen, as I understand, your IMEI has been barred, for what you say (you say thet its IMEI is stopping the phone from beeing used), or you have a confussion about what is unlock a phone.
A LOCKED phone is a phone that has a lock written in its firmware that makes it reject any other sim except the ones from the provider that sold the phone to you. That can be changed by typing a special code on the phone, that allows to use other simcards from other providers.
A BLOCKED phone is a phone which its IMEI has been declared as stolen, thus it has been barred, or blacklisted (which is the same thing). Since in many countries providers must share by law their blacklists, the phone can't be used with any provider of that country. For example, a phone barred in UK by O2, will not be able to work with Hutchinson or any other provider.
That's a very different thing and it can't be changed by a code. You have to change IMEI, wich is a rather complex task. The best option is sell the phone in another country (overseas), because the equipment to change imei costs something like 5000 usd (hot air station, new UEM chip, equipment to write it again, microsoldering equipment, and a lot more).
