could anybody tell me if its true that a A55 can not be unlocked by software and data cable .. only clips or logs
I have downloaded software from the Siemens download on this site but will not unlock phone i am using XP.

Not true....if phone is under version 9 U can direct unlock it..with freia soft..if its version 9 and above U need to cut a test point..and than unlock with freia ...
