Just thought I'd mention it, but I finally got my AT&T / Cingular Nokia 6820b (RH-26) unlocked! I tried the website using the default values, but after 4 tries my phone was still locked up tighter than Fort Knox! I had tried the unlock.NokiaFREE.org web unlocker and two different remote unlocking (pay) services, but everyone was coming back with the same incorrect codes. As you may figure, I was reluctant to try that final code.

Anyhow, I found one last service where the guy seemed to understand that the Nokia 6820b phones are tricky, yet he claimed a 95% success rate! I thought I'd give him a try. What'd'ya know... it worked!! Paying $5 (vs. free) was well worth it to me. I definitely recommend this guy.

His site is at:
http://www.thetravelinsider.info/_vti_bin/shtml.dll/roadwarriorcontent/nokiaunlocking.htm

After receiving his code, I tried to use the unlock.NokiaFREE.org website to match his results. I found that these settings would've gotten me the same code that he sent:

- IMEI#: (myIMEI#here)
- Network: USA - AT&T Wirless (in my case)
- GEN: asic 6
- Nokia Model: Nokia 6800

The first code in the list (+1) is the code that unlocked my phone... and what a beautiful sight it was!

I hope that helps someone else. Happy unlocking!

Yip

Hey, I just joined this forum to say that your post, and all it's instructions worked for me with my 6820b from Rogers Wireless!

I used the unlocker from unlock.nokiafree.org, used the appropriate network code, asic 6, and then code one that it generated, and voila! A perfectly unlocked 6820b on my very first try!

Thank you, and I hope this continues to help others.

Great nice to see you unlocked it so easily.

I used the older version and unfortunately it gave me wrong codes. I got the newer version from this website. My question is will I loose the 1 year waranty when I unlock the phone.

Also, any tips on which "asic"s I should use. I heard somewhere to use asic 2 in the first one and then asic 6 in the next. I would appreciate you assistance. I haven't found much success so far.

My info is as follows

Model: Nokia (6620)
IMEI: 353755000960262
Network: 30272000 (canada, Rogers)
32835
(not using expert mode)
#pw+829 851 644 721 405+1#
#pw+422 827 146 071 273+2#
#pw+918 972 235 642 427+3#
#pw+826 861 645 461 212+4#
#pw+098 053 614 623 004+5#
#pw+952 902 670 002 554+6#
#pw+008 963 326 642 711+7#

Now using asic 2 & asic 6 stuff and the software once again has generated 7 different codes.

Which route will yield the best results. I saw the last email and it seems the best route will be to use asic 2 & asic 6 in expert mode which will give me these numbers

Model: Nokia (6620)
IMEI: 353755000960262
Network: 30272000
32821

#pw+829 991 644 721 405+1#
#pw+422 967 146 071 273+2#
#pw+918 012 235 642 427+3#
#pw+826 901 645 461 212+4#
#pw+098 193 614 623 004+5#
#pw+952 042 670 002 554+6#
#pw+008 003 326 642 711+7#

I would appreicate your help.

I did it

Unlocking a NOKIA 6820B that I used to used with AT&T

use the unlock.NokiaFREE.org

- IMEI#: (myIMEI#here)
- Network: USA - AT&T Wirless (in my case)
- GEN: asic 6
- Nokia Model: Nokia 6800

The first code in the list (+1) is the code that unlocked my phone

Now my phone is working with cingular

Thanks you.

Hey guys, unfortunately, my 6820 did not unlock, could i use a serial cable and one of those "all unlocker" programs to fix the problem? If it helps at all, it's locked to AT&T and I'm unlocking it to go to cingular.

Hi, if you download and use the nokia free unlock software and fill in the usual details. To unlock the orange handsets just do the following :-

on the +1# and +#2 codes produced, subtract 2 from the 3rd and 5th digits to give you the correct code.

Hope this helps some of you out there.

What did you use with AT&T for the last drop down box, GEN, ONE, ORIGINAL? Thanks.
