View Full Version : Virgin 1100 Unlock rh-18

I was hoping someone could help me unlocking my Virgin 1100 phone which I just bought (rh-18)
I am close to the border in Ireland and need to use a different sim card either side

I have tried three #7 codes already

Attempt (1)
Provider: 23400001
United Kingdom, Virgin - SPECIAL CODE
Type: 2 (33820)

Attempt (2)
Provider: 23430000
United Kingdom, Virgin
Type: 2 (33820)

Attempt (3)
Provider: 23400001
United Kingdom, Virgin - SPECIAL CODE
Type: 2, Griffin Clip (33552)

And am not having any luck

The next code I was going to try was the 23430000 Virgin Provider with the GTCL-001 (same as griffen clip 33552)
but I am a bit wary of doing it

Any help is appreciated

Since you still have two tries, I'd say try one more with standard virgin code and griffin clip, seventh code.

All the setting look right, and I can't understand why the phone rejected the codes, it should have worked with virgin special and griffin clip.

Are you sure it is locked? Have you tried another sim?

Post results for that combination.

Hi Edge,

Thanks for the help. I was very careful when entering the codes so I wastn going to chance them again

Turns out someone gave me the ONE boxserial (32836) and it worked on code 7.

Hope this helps someone else

i had similar problems to unlock my today bought 1100 Virgin.

Can you please confirm, that it has worked with ONE 32836 !
What else did you set? Asic 2 and MCC: 23400001

ASIC 2 for sure. Not sure about network code, could be virgin or virgin special...
