help on 6630

bought a 6630 in december from singapore...got an incoming call on feb 4th without a ringtone..the screen got frozen..even the phone didnt switch off.. removed the battery n switched it on again.. it wont go beyong the white nokia screen..gave the phone to nokia care..they returned the phone on 24th sayin its workin..went thru the software.. the screen froze again.. they took it back askin for a weeks time.. they returned the phone yesterday saying it cannot be fixed.. is there any way to reset the phone and get it running. please help :???:

hi, im from singapore too, which nokia care u sent it to?

u shld ask for a firmware upgrade, then tell them ur phone cannot start.

u shld also see the phone cant start up faq in symbian faqs. take out ur mmc and try.

if its not solved, DEMAND for a replacement set, or u could always bring this to CASE.

u may like to try a hard reset...or *#7370# 1st if u could possible go into ur main....i change 6 sets of 6630 already...all got the same problem...doing a frimware upgrade is recommended...as the new frimware isn't problem

all u can do is to try to pull out your MMC and use three key boot up trick to completely format yr phone, if this didn’t solve yr problem, u probably have some kind of hardware failure...
