Hey fellas....

I'm new here and hoping for some help on these issues:

1. I recently bought the Nokia 6630 from Karachi [I am a resident of Pakistan]. The firmware is ver. 2.39.15 11-11-04 RM-1. I know it is pretty old, but thats what I have. The Nokia authorized service center does not have any updates on when they will have the latest firmware upgrade. I understand the latest is ver. 3.45.11.3. Can anyone tell me what major changes should I expect in the new firmware? I have a business trip scheduled to China at the end of this month, probably Shanghai. I was thinking I would get the firmware upgraded there. Is the firmware in China going to be any different from my phone, as in language differences etc.? Also, is there any reason NOT to get the firmware upgraded?

2. On the same trip, I hope to purchase a larger memory RS-MMC for my phone [mine came with 64MB]. Is it safe to purchase a 256MB or larger RS-MMC as I have seen them in the market, are they compatible with the 6630, cuz I read somewhere that 128MB is the largest that the 6630 can accept. Also, I recently saw an advertisement by Kingston [the memory chip maker] about their RS-MMC's. Are they compatible with the Nokia 6630 [i do not know if they are dual-voltage or not- any one know?]

3. My cellular network is lousy, so I volunteered as a tester for a new cellular network Telenor [launching tomorrow!]. I inserted the tester sim into the 6630 as I wanted to check out the GPRS connections speeds, but the phone just wouldnt enter the Menu. I would press the menu button, the light grey shadow box of the menu would appear and then go back to the standby mode [wallpaper] without displaying the menu at all! Works fine with my old [read lousy] network. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Too many questions?? Sorry! Just wanna know why......

Thanks! :-D
