Startup tone 6600

I can find loads of posts relating to short startup tones long startup tone and no startup tones however I am trying to
switch off the startup tone. I have looked through the book and all the options and searched the web but to no avail....

The startup tone only plays when opening the phone* , but not when closing.

*It doesnt always play when u open the phone, it depends on the phone's mood, sometimes it plays fine, sometimes only a part of the tune, and sometimes doest play at all. Thats normal.

Ummm but I dont want it to ever play, I have switched it off on every phone cos I HATE it :-x

I tried to find this option, but no luck!

I think only one way is use Silent profile! :roll:

Or press buttons till phone start 100% (menu)
Or don't switch it off. :razz:

are it so hard? just push the red button after you have typed the pin code and then you wont hear it :cool:

Or just switch to silent profile before before u switch off phone :-D
