Lost file!

Hi.
I have a stupid problem.
I had a file on my phone that I did not want an application to regonize. Therefore I renamed it - by removing the file extension.
However, now I can not find the file at all. I have FExplorer installed but neither that or the built in file explorer is able to find my file.
I would like to delete it though since the files was rather large.

I'd rather not format the card, but if there's another file explorer wich can locate any typ of file I would really like to know how to find it or atleast the name of it. :cool:

Did you remove the file extension using fexplore? When renaming files in fexplore sometimes the file name is added into the file size column and other times it completely disappears!! You can still find the file by looking for blank lines in the folder it originally existed and renaming the file once more with extension. If no blank lines are highlighted or no file name exists in the file size column i suggest the file has either moved or already been deleted somehow.
